My wife and I moved to Northampton last year. We both wear glasses so we needed to find a new optician. We knew nothing about the area, however while finalising our house transaction we noticed there was an optician nearby. With everything involved in moving house we did nothing about having our eyes tested until November this year.
From the initial phone call we knew we were dealing with a friendly but professional business. The reception staff made us feel very welcome so we both made appointments for eye tests. We were impressed with the measures taken to keep everyone safe: visits by appointment only, face protection for staff and customers, sanitising spray etc.
We both had our eye tests conducted by Alistair, what a character! I could write at length about his suitability for the job but my advice is visit Punch, you won’t regret it.

The ladies are amazing and super professional and actually cheered my day up so much I left laughing with a big smile on my face & so much happier than I arrived, even though I’d need glasses. I felt like my eyes & the look of the glasses were important to them just as much to me. I’ve never received that high level of service from specsavers and will only use Punch from now on. Thanks again ladies for such a fantastic service & for cheering up a moody narcoleptic. I hope I didn’t drive you too mad!

Friendly, professional and efficient staff. Clean. £32.50 for an eye test, 18 and under get it for free on the NHS.
They also offer hearing tests on Mondays.
